The MHS IT Academy’s mission is to inspire students to pursue careers in Computer Science and Information Technology. We provide rigorous and relevant coursework and support opportunities for in depth, practical experiences to increase employability and marketability in these fields. The IT Academy is a Mukwonago High School teacher and student led club, and is home to 100+ students including alumni.
Why an IT Academy at MHS?
There are many reasons that we encourage our students to be a part of the IT Academy at MHS. First of all, the computer science field is growing rapidly in our society today, and the amount of open and upcoming jobs that are available is tremendous. Students in the MHS IT Academy will begin learning various IT topics and skills in high school, better preparing them for a successful future in computer science.
